Privacy policy

My Joyful Wisdom (myjoyfulwisdom.com) is a free library of psychology books. We collect as little about you as we can, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- If you sign up with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google. We use only your email to identify your account.
- If you sign up with email: your email address, used to send you a sign-in link.
- Cookies: secure sign-in cookies that keep you signed in for up to 30 days, and small preference cookies (such as language). No advertising cookies are set on chapter pages.
We do not collect your phone number, location, or anything you write while reading.
Who processes it
- Supabase stores accounts and handles sign-in.
- Google, only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
- Hostinger hosts the website.
- Amazon, only when you click a book link (affiliate links).
- UPI apps / payment providers, only if you choose to donate.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time from the menu. To delete your account and all data we hold about you, email privacy@myjoyfulwisdom.com from the address you signed up with. We will delete it within 30 days. This applies under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the GDPR for readers in the EU/UK.
